Direct sow outdoors in fall (for natural Cold Moist Stratification).
From seed; winter sow in vented containers, coldframe or unheated greenhouse (for natural Cold Moist Stratification).
Use Cold Moist Stratification, if sowing indoors
Seeds Whats worked for South Bay for most seeds, including milkweed. ( Narrow leaf was the exception it did not work)
Self-sows freely; deadhead if you do not want volunteer seedlings next season
